GOP will win House, Dems appear to take Senate again, still close in Pres O and Gov R

CNN, via the Associated Press, projects the Republicans will retake the House. No surprise. It is looking like the Senate will be held again by Democrats. We will have our first Hispanic senator from Texas, Republican Ted Cruz whose parents came from Cuba, was born in Canada. Cruz is a Tea Party favorite. Enough said.

Nothing concrete yet in the race for my congressional district, CD-14, where Republican Tea Party candidate Randy Weber from Brazoria County is apparently leading overall in the district to replace outgoing U.S. Rep. Ron Paul. Democrat Nick Lampson, who was Jefferson County Tax Assessor-Collector and served two terms in Congress, is leading in Jefferson County (Texas), according to the Beaumont Enterprise.

Romney is ahead in electoral votes in states where expected except for an apparent win in Indiana. It’s close, close in Florida, 600 votes close until it changed where Obama appears to be winning in Jefferson County, Florida. Obama is looking good in Colorado. We still await more from Ohio and Florida.
